- VETERINARY REFERRAL: In order for your animal to be treated by Pro-Motion Veterinary Physiotherapy, it is integral to have veterinary consent in the form of Pro-Motion’s veterinary referral form. This is in accordance with the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1996. If you are seeking a veterinary physiotherapy appointment without direct referral from your veterinary surgeon, Pro-Motion will contact your veterinary practice to obtain this necessary consent before your appointment. Without the completed referral from, treatment will not commence.
- CLIENT CONFIDENTIALITY: Pro-Motion Veterinary Physiotherapy is committed to protecting personal information for both clients and patients in line with the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1996 and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). All personal information is handled with strict confidentiality.
- TREATMENT CONDITIONS: By booking an appointment with Pro-Motion Veterinary Physiotherapy, you are allowing the veterinary physiotherapist onto your premises during the allotted appointment time. It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure their animal is clean and fully prepared to receive veterinary physiotherapy treatment. You must declare health and safety issues regarding your animal to the therapist before treatment commences. This includes any vices, behavioural concerns, and handling preferences in order to keep you, your animal, and the therapist safe. Pro-Motion Veterinary Physiotherapy reserves the rights to refuse veterinary physiotherapy treatment if your animal presents with a new lameness or a change in health. In the event of treatment refusal, the therapist will refer back to your veterinary surgeon.
- CANCELLATION POLICY: Appointments must be cancelled more than 24 hours in advance otherwise a cancellation fee worth 20% of your appointment cost will be charged. In the case of an emergency, this charge may not be imposed.
- PAYMENT POLICY: Pro-Motion Veterinary Physiotherapy accepts payment in the form of cash and bank transfer. Payment must be completed at the time of the appointment, unless an alternative agreement is discussed in advance. Group discounts must be discussed prior to the scheduled appointment. An additional mileage fee of 30p per mile will be charged if you are located outside of a 25 mile radius of Cheltenham.
- SOCIAL MEDIA: With verbalised owner permission, Pro-Motion Veterinary Physiotherapy may take photos and videos during the veterinary physiotherapy treatment. These may be shared publicly on social media platforms to promote Pro-Motion’s veterinary physiotherapy services.
